This week, viewers will watch as Jason tries to break Britt out of the Five Poppies Resort on General Hospital. And in the real-world, her portrayer, Kelly Thiebaud, cleaned out a storage unit in the place she had called home in order to bring all of her belongings back to Los Angeles. The ABC soap star posted a video on her official Instagram to give fans a peek into the exhausting task…
“Well, I did it,” Thiebaud stated. “Moving out of my London storage unit was a huge undertaking to do by myself.” And to make things harder, she only had a week to “move out, pack, ship, sell and donate” her things. “I tried to make the best of it,” she continued then went on to explain how she danced when she felt sad “or exhausted” and “met up with friends and tried to find moments to enjoy a city” she loved so much.
The actress then thanked the company that gave her a “comfortable homey place to come back to” in order to “recover and relax” then added, “I have grown so much through this experience. I have so much confidence in myself now and I know there isn’t anything I can’t do on my own. Till next time, London.”
Thiebaud’s castmate, Finola Hughes (Anna), who was born in London, was one of the first to jump into the comments to give her a shoutout, “London is awesome!” then commented on a moment from the video her pal posted, “Look at you driving on the other side!”
We’re glad Thiebaud has all her belongings back and will now be able to properly settle into her home in L.A.
