General Hospital‘s Who Shot Drew mystery is about to be solved…finally. Trina and Kai will put the pieces together and name the culprit. But will they be rewarded for their efforts, or be in trouble with the law themselves?
Detectives Trina And Kai
Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) were snooping around Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) house when they heard the gunshots. Someone tried to kill the much-hated congressman, but they didn’t witness who pulled the trigger.
Trina was worried that one of her parents was the shooter, so she and her boyfriend kept their whereabouts on the night of the crime to themselves. They have attempted to solve the mystery together, but they were unable to figure it out.
But things are about to change. It seems that something will happen during Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial that will jog their memories. They will know who shot Drew and run to Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) with the information. Odds are that this will end the trial, and Willow will be set free. Trina and Kai save the day and are the heroes of the story.
Not So Fast
Trina and Kai did not shoot Drew, but they did break into his house, and they stole evidence from his safe. They were also witnesses to the crime but didn’t come forward. This can get them into trouble with both the PCPD and the congressman.
Will Drew press charges? He is quite the wildcard and can go either way. There will, of course, be anger regarding the break-in, but he may be so grateful that they cleared his precious Willow that he will let it go.
The couple might be arrested, but this is the PCPD. They aren’t the best police force in the world, especially without Anna (Finola Hughes) at the helm, so the whole thing could easily blow over. The incident might give Trina and Kai a new career goal as private investigators. Port Charles needs a lot of them.
