“They told us two was enough. That our hands were full, our lives already loud, busy, complete. But love doesn’t listen to limits — it multiplies.” GH’s Josh Swickard and wife Lauren just announced they’re expecting their third child, and the joy is unmistakable. Another heartbeat, another soul choosing their family, another chapter written in late-night laughs, tiny kicks, and overwhelming gratitude.

The Swickards already have a lot to celebrate in 2026!

Chase had quite the year on General Hospital, going from losing his hopes and dreams of becoming a father to becoming so obsessed with exonerating Willow, he lost his badge. While Chase navigates uncharted waters in Port Charles, his portrayer Josh Swickard just made a major life announcement alongside wife and GH alum, Lauren Swickard.

Baby Makes Five

To kick off the new year, The Swickards, Josh (Chase) and Lauren (Nurse Janice), took to Instagram with a joint post to announce that their family is growing.

“Exciting New Year’s update from the Swickard fam,” read the caption, along with a video featuring Josh, Lauren, their daughter Savannah, and son Arthur. Throughout the video, Lauren shows off her baby bump, their farm, and sweet family moments.

GH cast members Maurice Benard (Sonny), Steve Burton (Jason), and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) left love on the post with likes. Lydia Look (Selina) chimed in with, “Love! Congratulations @joshswickard and family!” while Josh’s on-screen brother Michael Easton (Finn) wrote a sweet and simple, “Congratulations” alongside a heart emoji.

The comments also filled with congratulations from fans. “I remember watching your guys’ movies and you guys have a real life happily ever after,” wrote one fan, referring to the couple’s Christmas romcoms. “Congratulations, Josh and Lauren! You make beautiful babies. Love watching your little family growing and growing up!” said another.

While Josh celebrates this family milestone, his character Chase has a lot on his plate. His determination to exonerate his ex, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), has left him without a badge. Now, he’s navigating life being suspended from the force, tension between him and friends like Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Michael (Rory Gibson), and an unhappy (and jealous?) wife.
