From saints to sinners 😈🔥 Willow and Michael are finally bringing edge to Port Charles, and fans can’t look away. Their darker turns have transformed them into must-watch characters with real bite

General Hospital has seen Michael and Willow channel their dark side in recent months, and it’s a game-changer. These two characters have gone from Dullsville to highly entertaining.

Here’s Why Dark Michael and Willow Are A Hit
For years, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (then Chad Duell) were so sappy and annoying. Even when she cheated on Chase (Josh Swickard), it didn’t make them any more entertaining as a couple.

They were constantly the goody-two-shoes of Port Charles, which had us fast-forwarding a lot. However, those days are long gone.

Pitting Michael (now Rory Gibson) and Willow against each other after she cheated on him with Drew (Cameron Mathison) has been pure soap bliss. It has brought out an inner rage in each of them that wasn’t there before, and we are here for it.

A fan on X agreed is here for it too, reshared a video of the former couple writing, “Ironically, making both characters darker has actually made them far more interesting characters than they were two years ago.”

Yes, watching Willow and Drew together makes us sick, but the fact that Willow shot Drew has made her more interesting. Watching Willow be disgusted by Drew has been beyond enjoyable.

“HAHAHA she has so quickly become a legend,” a fan on X said, referring to the faces Willow makes about Drew behind his back.

Regarding Michael, having a new actor in the role certainly changed his dynamic in a way that was necessary. Michael always came across as having a holier-than-thou attitude, which was too much, especially considering his parents are Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright).

The smoldering, sinister, evil, and brooding Michael is way more fun to watch. It also aligns more closely with the Corinthos and Quartermaine families.
