General Hospital‘s Britt and Lucas’s bond is the best thing to come out of the never-ending Sidwell and Cullum storyline. They may have become friends for life, and we are here for it.
Who Would Have Thought?
Britt (Kelly Theibaud) and Lucas (Van Hansis – who explained why Lucas turned to Britt instead of Carly) weren’t exactly friends before Britt “died”. He was married to Brad (Parry Shen), who was her bestie. There was definitely some jealousy there, but it was more than that.
Brad’s decision-making skills were questionable, to say the least. He never made the right one. His instinct was always to go to the dark side, which invariably got him into constant trouble. Lucas was always the level-headed spouse who struggled to trust his husband. He believed that Britt was a bad influence on Brad, and he did not approve of their friendship.
But that was then, and this is now. Thanks to dangerous circumstances, Britt and Lucas had to come together, whether they wanted to or not. When Lucas discovered that Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Sidwell (Carlo Rota) were bargaining with Britt’s life, he decided to help her and convinced Marco (Adrian Anchondo) to do the same. They had a good plan, but unfortunately, it did not go as they had hoped. Marco was killed, and the WSB took Jason (Steve Burton) away.
Emotional Bond
The trauma that they both experienced brought Lucas and Britt closer than they ever thought. Together, they figured out that it was Cullum who murdered Marco. They are keeping this information to themselves because they are afraid that Cullum will take away Britt’s meds.
