Avery Jerome-Corinthos
Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) is the only child of Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Ava (Maura West). The Scarola twins have played her since they were very young, but there have been hints of a change. During one of his many arguments with Ava, Sonny referred to their daughter as a teenager. This is a sign that a new and older actor may be taking on the role.
Avery’s parents have been at war from the time she was born, but they have done a decent job of not revealing to her how much they despise each other. Once she is a teen, this may change. She would be much more aware of their constant battling, and it will be interesting to see how she reacts to them.
Avery And The Teens
It may be the perfect time to age Avery up because Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) has left Port Charles. Rocco (Finn Carr), Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), and Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) could use another teen to hang out with.
Scout and Avery might bond over dealing with difficult parents. On the other hand, Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Ava’s war with Sonny could trickle down to their children. The girls could be close friends or not get along at all.
Depending on how old Avery becomes, she could be a love interest for Danny. He and Charlotte almost began a romance until they realized they were cousins. Avery and Danny are not related, and it would be nice for him to have someone who could be a good influence on him for a change.
