How Josslyn Rigged the Piers Auction: Every Step of Her Secret Plan — and Who's Already Suspicious

General Hospital explainer · Tuesday, October 13, 2026, before today’s episode

On Monday’s General Hospital (Oct. 12), Piers 55 and 56 went to a name nobody in the room expected: Hudson Parker, bidding for JJE. Sonny, Drew, Valentin and the Wu family all walked out empty-handed. Here is exactly how Josslyn pulled it off, step by step, from the dialogue that aired.

The rivals she had to beat

  • Sonny — with Ric running the numbers. Ric “looked into [Drew’s] financials and calculated exactly what he could actually offer. And then I factored in his ego and then doubled it.” His verdict: the odds of anyone outbidding Sonny were “minuscule.”
  • Drew — the bid Ric set out to crush.
  • Valentin — who told Carly he was “just looking for my next business venture.”
  • The Wu family — Selina said her nephew Brad “stepped in to procure the piers for the Wu family.”

All bids were anonymous — numbers, no names.

Step 1: The plan was Josslyn’s

In a Metro Court hotel room, Joss suited up in black with an earpiece. Hudson: “You look like a Bond villain.” When he got nervous, she reminded him: “This was my plan. Remember?” Hudson: “I never would have proposed a plan that involved breaking and entering.”

Step 2: Why it had to be done in person

Joss explained: “My mom had to put in all of these new safety measures after the surveillance system was tampered with recently. Hacking the Metro Court server online, it’s virtually impossible. The only way to get it done is if I go in there and physically disable one of the security features.”

Step 3: Hudson’s warning

Hudson said the plan had turned into “corporate espionage”: “If we get caught, we’re both doing time in federal prison. You sure this is worth it?” Joss: “All you have to do is look pretty and stare at your computer screen. I’m the one taking the risk.”

Step 4: The close call

While Joss was inside the security room, her own mother, Carly, and Valentin were right outside the door looking for an empty room. They left without opening it.

Step 5: 90 seconds left

With “90 seconds before the bidding is locked,” Joss disabled the feature: “Is the auction site’s data exposed?” Hudson: “Yeah. I can see it all now.” Her final order: “Enter in our bid, but don’t hit submit until the very last second.”

Who’s already suspicious

  • Carly and Valentin recognized Hudson as the man Jax sent to convince Josslyn to take the CEO job — and were surprised to learn JJE was bidding at all.
  • Ric and Drew demanded answers from Councilman Ezra Boyle: had the winner been vetted, what company does he represent, does he have the funds? Ezra said he was “not in a position to answer.” Then the question to Hudson: “Who exactly do you work for?”
