Bold and the Beautiful: Katie Tells Brooke to Her Face “I Will Never Back Down” — and Names the Night That Ended Them

Recap of The Bold and the Beautiful, Thursday, October 15, 2026 (CBS).

Brooke Logan walked into Logan Designs on Thursday to end what she calls a war. She left with the clearest answer Katie has ever given her. Here is the whole exchange, who said what, and the one night Katie threw back at her sister.

“It all stops today”

Brooke opened with the charge sheet. “This hostility that you have against the company, against me, your own sister, this onslaught of attacks. You have been so calculated.” She said Katie knew “exactly what you were doing when you used the name Logan for your little startup,” and then came the line that set the tone for the whole episode: “You promised me you weren’t going to steal any more Forresters, and here you are doing it with Zende. You took him away from his own family’s company, Katie. How could you do that?” Her verdict: “It all stops today.”

Hope tried to lower the temperature. “Katie and I, we are not attacking Forrester or you. It’s not personal. We love you.” Brooke believed her daughter: “I believe you mean that, Hope.” She did not extend the same to her sister. “Hope isn’t blatantly trying to hurt me. But you are. I’m certain of it. I’m more certain now than ever that you are out for revenge.”

Katie clears the room

Katie asked Hope to step out — “Hope, could you give your mother and me a moment?” — and Hope agreed only on the promise that she would be “just down the hallway.” Alone, Katie refused to apologize for anything. “I’m not going to apologize for Logan’s success. I’m not going to apologize for building a company and a brand practically overnight. If Forrester’s really on the ropes, then maybe you should look internally at how you’re treating your talent… that’s what this is, Brooke. It’s business.”

Brooke’s answer: “No, Katie. This is more than business. This is a personal vendetta against me. And it’s gone too far.” Then she asked the question the scene was built around: “Don’t you want this war to end?”

The night Katie meant

Katie’s reply is the quote of the day. “You want to end the war? You want to stop fighting and come together as sisters. Where have I heard those words? Oh, yeah. I remember. I said them to you. The night you told me that I was no longer your family. That I was no longer your sister.”

That night is on the record. On the Thursday, July 23, 2026 episode, Katie went to the Forrester mansion to ask Brooke and Donna to put family first after Will hit Eric; Brooke told her that since she had sided with the Spencers, she was no longer part of Brooke’s family — “Not anymore!” — according to Soaps.com’s recap “Brooke Disowns Katie,” and Daytime Confidential headlined the same episode “Brooke Declares She and Katie Are No Longer Family.” Katie has been carrying that line for almost three months.

Then she drew her own line. “I don’t have to take this anymore. I don’t have to be victim to your emotional manipulation. I have spent my entire life sacrificing my happiness for yours, but no more.” Brooke wanted her to send Hope and Zende back to Forrester; Katie listed exactly what she will not give up: “I’m not giving up Zende. I’m not giving up Hope. I’m not giving up my name. I am not backing down. You listening to me, Brooke? Are you hearing me? Because I will never back down. Never.”

Bill is scared for Katie, not of her

Across the showroom, Bill Spencer told Wyatt and Shauna that landing Zende was “quite a coup for Logan,” then admitted, “I’m worried, Wyatt. I’m worried about my wife.” Wyatt’s first guess was her heart — Katie lives with a transplanted heart — and Bill brushed it off: “No, it’s not her heart… That’s a constant concern. But right now, there’s a more immediate problem.” The problem is Brooke. “Katie doesn’t think her relationship with Brooke will ever be the same,” Bill said. He called the Zende hire “a great business move on Katie’s part. But at what cost?” And then the line that reframes the whole feud: “Katie loves her sister. And if they don’t get their relationship back, I’m afraid of what that might do to my Katie.” His fear, in Shauna’s words and his: that if Katie keeps pushing, “she will lose her sister forever. And that would kill Katie.”

What’s next

Soaps.com’s spoilers for Friday, October 16 say Brooke makes an appeal to Katie — and that it does not go well, with Brooke accusing her sister of being out for revenge. Soaps.com also asks whether Katie’s appeal to Zende was all wrong. Nothing reliable says the sisters make peace this week.

So who is right? Brooke says Katie is running a vendetta dressed up as a business. Katie says she spent her whole life giving way to Brooke and is done. Is Katie finally standing up for herself, or has she turned into the thing she always accused Brooke of being? Tell us in the comments.
