General Hospital recap, Thursday, October 15, 2026
Josslyn Jax took Piers 55 and 56 out from under Sonny Corinthos on Monday. On Thursday, Sonny made it clear he won’t fight her head-on — and picked a different target instead: Hudson Parker, the man running JJE’s moves at her side. By the end of the episode, Ric Lansing had a listening device in Hudson’s briefcase and an earpiece in his own ear.
Scene 1: “She’s untouchable.” Hudson isn’t.
At his house, Sonny laid out his line with Ric. Going after Josslyn directly, he said, would mean hurting Carly — and he won’t risk it. “Josslyn was my stepdaughter. I helped raise her, so she’s untouchable,” Sonny said. Then the turn: Hudson, however, “is a different story.”
Ric didn’t waste a second. “How far are you willing to go?” he asked. Sonny’s answer: “Ric, you know I’m no longer in the elimination business.” But he didn’t stop there. Ric suggested paying Hudson off — “most people are motivated by money” — and Sonny admitted that doesn’t mean he’s opposed to “a little blackmail or arm-twisting.” The plan they settled on: squeeze Hudson until working for Josslyn isn’t worth it, and he walks away.
Sonny’s shopping list
Before any move, Sonny wants a file. He told Ric to find out where Hudson Parker came from before JJE, who his family is, whether he bets on football, whether he drinks. “I want to know what his Achilles heel is,” Sonny said. Ric: “I’ll see what I can find out.” Earlier, Ric had already told Sonny he has a P.I. tracking Hudson’s location.
Scene 2: Thrown out of the gym
Ric’s next stop was the gym, where Hudson was mid-workout. Ric told him he had to leave — Sonny Corinthos owns the place, and he’s not welcome. Hudson didn’t budge: “I don’t care who owns this place. I have a membership here.”
Then Josslyn walked in. “If you and Sonny have a problem with JJE obtaining the piers, you come to me,” she told Ric, adding that “Sonny lost.” Ric turned it back on her, calling her fight with her former stepfather a “childish vendetta” and “the height of hypocrisy.”
The surprise came after Ric left. Josslyn called Ric a “weasel” — and Hudson told her the weasel is “not entirely wrong.” She has backed Sonny into a corner, he said, “knowing he can’t or won’t go after you,” and she has taken advantage of being his stepdaughter. Josslyn’s reply: “I’m using every advantage I have — and isn’t that what a good CEO does?” Hudson: “Absolutely, and I applaud you for it.”
Scene 3: The briefcase
While Hudson was in the locker room, Ric slipped a device into his briefcase. Moments later Ric was standing outside with an earpiece in, listening. Sonny called: “You got something we can use?” Ric: “Well, I just got started.” Sonny: “Get it done. I’ll be waiting.”
Meanwhile, Josslyn’s other boss
Josslyn also faced her WSB superior, who reminded her that defying a direct order can cost an agent her certification. She argued buying the piers was simply her doing the CEO job she was ordered to keep — and asked who would run JJE if he sent her away. She was cleared to continue her cover.
What’s next
SheKnows/Soaps.com’s spoilers for the week list Thursday as the day “Ric bugs Hudson’s briefcase” and “Sonny and Ric plot,” with Friday teasing that “Ric takes on a new client.” So far, the listening device is the only weapon on the table — and Hudson has no idea it’s there.
Your turn
Sonny says Josslyn is off-limits, but the man beside her is fair game. Is going after Hudson smart — or the move that turns Josslyn against Sonny for good? And is Hudson right that Josslyn is taking advantage? Tell us in the comments on Facebook.
