Bold and the Beautiful: Will tells Katie to hire Dylan, and Dylan asks Katie the one question that matters

Recap of The Bold and the Beautiful, Tuesday, October 27, 2026 (CBS).

Will Spencer woke up at the beach house, told Dylan he “can’t get enough” of her, and then spent the rest of Tuesday’s episode trying to get his mother to give her a job. By the end of the hour Dylan was standing in Katie’s office at Logan, and it was Dylan, not Will, who said the line that stopped the room.

“I need a job and bartending is not cutting it”

The morning started sweetly. “I am getting very used to waking up with you every single morning,” Will told her. Dylan worried she was “overstaying” her welcome. “Are you kidding me? I can’t get enough of you, Miss Dylan,” he answered.

Then the day got practical. Her plan was job hunting. “I need a job and bartending is not cutting it right now,” she said. Will told her to hold off: “Let me talk to my mom. I’m going to convince her to give you a job at Logan.”

“She should be thanking you, but she’s icing you out”

Will’s argument was simple: Katie owes her. “She’s the reason that you got fired from Forrester in the first place. You did what she asked. You convinced Zende to come to Logan so that he could speak with my mother and Hope. And that was not a fair position for her to put you in.”

Dylan pushed back: “It worked, though, right? Not only did Zende talk to Hope and Katie, but he’s designing there now, which probably would have happened regardless of my involvement.”

“Maybe, maybe not,” Will said. “But the point is, she should be thanking you, but she’s icing you out.” Dylan tried to shut it down: “It’s fine. I will survive, okay? I promise… Sometimes you need to learn to just let go. Let the universe do its thing. I have options. I have my art. I have dancing. I have teaching kids.”

That only made Will more determined. “You see that right there? That’s why I love you. You got this tenacity, this optimism, and you deserve a spot at Logan.” When the official memo about Zende’s hiring landed on his phone, he told her: “It’s a done deal, and it’s because of you.” His orders: change out of the yoga clothes and meet him at Logan. “You and my mom are going to come face to face, and she’s going to do what’s right.”

Darcy’s advice: “You have to beg”

Per Soaps.com’s recap, Darcy arrived at the beach house with professional outfits for the interview and told Dylan to do whatever it takes to get the job: “You have to beg.” She approved the final look as “Logan-ready” and even offered to role-play as Katie on the drive over. Dylan declined.

What Dylan said to Katie

At Logan, Katie was celebrating. “My team is complete,” she said, after announcing Zende as the company’s “newest superstar.” Will’s reply, per the recap: his mom still needs to hire Dylan. He kept pushing: “Today is the day. Do the right thing. And God, just be nice to her.” Then he left the two women alone.

Dylan did not beg. She told Katie, “It’s your company,” and asked her straight out: “What do you want, Mrs. Spencer?” The scene ended there, with Katie’s answer still to come.

Back-story

Dylan lost her Forrester job after she brought Zende to Logan at Katie’s request so he could hear Katie and Hope’s pitch. Zende has since left Forrester and signed on as co-head designer at Logan, which is exactly what Katie wanted, and which, as Will sees it, Dylan made possible. Katie, meanwhile, has kept Dylan at arm’s length.

What’s next

Soaps.com’s spoilers say that on Wednesday “Dylan stands up for herself when she is pushed hard enough,” while “Wyatt and Darcy meet for the first time, and sparks fly.” On Friday, “Will takes the next step in his relationship with Dylan.”
