Drew Points Monet Toward Llanview
Monet Mitchell refuses to give up on Curtis. She wants his conviction overturned once and for all. Her plan rests on a heroic act few people know about. Curtis saved the life of Sidwell, and Monet wants the world to hear it. That kind of story could change public opinion overnight.
General Hospital
Drew Cain quickly spotted a flaw in her approach. Using Aurora would look far too biased. So Drew suggested a fresh outlet with real credibility. Why not hand the story to The Llanview Banner instead? Llanview was the fictional town on One Life to Live. That detail did not slip past longtime fans.
A Buchanan May Be Headed to Port Charles
Today, The Banner is run by Kevin Buchanan, played by Dan Gauthier. Kevin is the eldest son of the iconic Victoria Lord. Drew seems to know the newspaper owner personally. Could the mention be a simple nod to a beloved soap? Or is GH quietly setting the stage for a visit?
This would not be the first Llanview crossover. Nora Buchanan arrived in town in 2017, with Hilary B. Smith reprising the role. The sharp attorney represented Valentin Cassadine in a custody war with Lulu Spencer. She also defended Kevin Collins when he was charged with hiding his fugitive brother. Nora won both cases and then headed straight home to Llanview.
General Hospital: Will Kevin Stick Around This Time?
Pine Valley sent a visitor too. Walt Willey reprised his role as Jackson Montgomery from All My Children in 2023. The lawyer got pulled into a Deception crisis and a messy lawsuit. Erika Slezak, famous as Victoria Lord, later joined GH as well. Instead of Viki, she played Ronnie, the long lost sister of Monica Quartermaine.
Kevin could be the next legacy face to walk into Port Charles. Drew may convince him to join Team Curtis. A front page story in The Banner could carry serious weight. It might even help clear Curtis for good! Fans are also hoping this visitor finally sticks around for a while. Do you think Kevin and The Banner will help Curtis win his freedom?
