This Week on General Hospital: Searching for Answers
GH’s weekly video preview kicks off with an ominous statement. “Sidwell’s son being murdered has changed everything.” It’s Marco’s funeral, and Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Ric (Rick Hearst) have decided to pay their respects. A fact that doesn’t make Sidwell (Carlo Rota) happy. If Sidwell’s looks could kill, the brothers would already be gone.
“Marco’s killer will be brought to justice.” Sidwell looks ready to target Sonny, and while Sonny did kidnap his son once upon a time, he certainly didn’t murder the guy. But that won’t seem to matter to this master manipulator. He wants to carry out his son’s wishes. And Marco (Adrian Anchondo, who talks about his character’s death) wanted Sonny taken care of.
Meanwhile, Carly (Laura Wright) and Jack (Chris McKenna) will get into a heated conversation this week. “You want to help me? Why did Jason shoot Cullum?” Carly is angry with Jack for so many reasons. And she hates that the WSB hauled Jason (Steve Burton) away from Port Charles in shackles.
She suddenly demands answers from her so-called boyfriend, but he still has no idea how much she knows. When will she tell Jack that she knows the truth about his recruiting Joss (Eden McCoy)?
Elsewhere, besties Brad (Parry Shen, who recently recreated one of Brad’s favorite drinks) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) are trying to do their best to piece together the events of the night Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) accosted Britt on the docks. “Jason is obviously protecting someone. We have to figure out who,” Britt explains.
Jason told her to tell the cops he was the one who shot Cullum. But he never told her Rocco (Finn Carr) was the one who did it. What will it take for her to find out who Jason’s protecting?
Finally, we see Joss looking in on Cullum’s hospital room. Lucas (Van Hansis, who talks about the ripple of effects of Marco’s death) is standing over him. He’s searching for answers, too. “Do you remember who shot you?”
