While wandering through the preserve, the determined beagle begins digging around the exact area where Brennan was buried. But when Drew later returns to check on the grave, something is terribly wrong. Brennan’s body is no longer where Drew left it. Instead, Drew discovers the grave has been disturbed, leaving him confused, frightened, and desperate to figure out who discovered his secret.
The biggest clue may come from an unusual piece of evidence left behind—a muddy bracelet marked with the letter “C.” Drew quickly realizes that the bracelet could be connected to Charlotte, and suddenly his concern turns into outright panic.
