General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) life could be in grave danger.
Some new information has surfaced regarding the trouble ahead for Drew this autumn, so let’s take a closer look at some hints that could point to his grim fate.
GH Co-Head Writers Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten recently gave an interview to TV Insider that included some fall preview storylines.
Van Etten and Korte dropped three clues in that interview that could point to deadly Drew drama.
1) Fatal consequences to come
For starters, Korte and Van Etten discussed how Drew’s feud with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could escalate with “potentially fatal consequences.”
If this battle does turn deadly, then perhaps Drew could be the one who pays the ultimate price.
Sonny certainly won’t be the one facing a grisly outcome!
It’s possible someone else will get caught in the crossfire, but it’s equally possible that Drew’s Sonny revenge will backfire and cost him his life.
2) Nina’s frame-up culprit set to suffer
Next, Van Etten and Korte suggested Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) would have a rough time this fall due to the evidence Drew planted, but they hinted Drew may have an even worse time in the end!
“Nina may face a dark future — but perhaps not as dark a future as those who seek her downfall….” Van Etten and Korte teased.
Since Drew is indeed the one setting Nina up and trying to bring her down, this hint about a bleak future could point to his potential demise.
3) Alexis’ permanent solution
As for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), she’ll be eager to do whatever she can to shove Drew out of Scout Quartermaine’s (Kayden Breanna Tokarksi) life for good.
“Through with appeasing Drew, Alexis will reach for any opportunity to permanently sever him from Scout,” Korte and Van Etten said.
Could this be yet another clue about GH writers pushing Drew toward a fatal exit door?
We’re not saying Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will necessarily be responsible, but this is a third instance of Van Etten and Korte speaking about Drew in a way that suggests a possibly permanent departure.
