General Hospital: Willow Exposed by Lulu's Article — Chase Blames the Quartermaines as Brook Lynn Breaks Down

General Hospital recap, Thursday, October 8, 2026

It finally happened. Lulu’s story in The Invader hit Port Charles on Thursday, and its headline left nothing to the imagination: “MOTION DENIED! CONGRESSWOMAN GIVES HUSBAND PARALYTIC DRUG FOR MONTHS.” Drew’s “stroke” and locked-in syndrome were never real — and the whole town now knows Willow was behind it. But the person who took the hardest hit on Thursday wasn’t Willow. It was Brook Lynn.

“Christmas came early this year”

Tracy swept into the Quartermaine kitchen in the best mood of her life. “Christmas came early this year,” she announced, before laying it out for Michael and Brook Lynn: Drew “never had a stroke,” never had locked-in syndrome, and “Willow was drugging him on Sidwell’s orders, no less.” Brook Lynn’s reply — “Are you having a stroke, Granny?” — didn’t slow her down. “Ask Lulu,” Tracy said, and sent them to The Invader‘s website.

Tracy couldn’t hide her admiration for the scheme itself: “He trapped her in a marriage and she trapped him in a wheelchair. If I didn’t despise her, I would admire her.” Michael warned: “She’s not going to take this lying down.”

Chase: “It’s who you are. All three of you.”

It did the opposite. Chase — who had just been going over his legal separation papers with attorney Monet — got Tracy’s text, left the meeting and stormed into the kitchen. “Tell me you didn’t have anything to do with” the article, he demanded. When the family denied it, he didn’t believe a word: “This is a pack of lies and you know it. And I know that one of you, if not all of you, is complicit in it being published.”

Told that the story was all there in black and white, Chase turned it around on them: “It’s who you are. All three of you. You tried to frame her for the car accident. You tried to implicate her in Drew’s shooting. And you pushed her into a lake.”

What Willow admitted to Britt

At the gatehouse, Willow tried to play the victim with Britt — “Wow, nice of you to believe the worst of me” — and Britt shut it down. “Willow, get real. I’m a doctor, okay? The medical facts surrounding Drew’s stroke and locked-in syndrome never added up.”

Willow’s answer: Sidwell “didn’t have to twist my arm very” much. She told Britt that after her trial she felt “trapped with Drew,” that he was “clamping down on me and everyone around me,” and that when Sidwell approached her with his plan, “it felt like my only way out.” The price? “In exchange for the paralytic, he wanted me installed in Drew’s seat in Congress where I could do his bidding.”

Her biggest fear now is Drew himself. “Drew is the proof,” she said. “He hates me so much. I’m afraid he’ll do it.” She’s also worried about her seat: “I’m about to be tried in the court of public opinion.”

Then Chase arrived — and apologized to her. “I’m so sorry about that article,” he said, telling Willow he was “pretty sure” Tracy, Michael and Brook Lynn were behind it. “But we are going to fight back, and I know exactly how to do it.”

Brook Lynn: “How can he just be over?”

Back at the mansion, Tracy delivered the hard truth: “Willow’s been exposed, but so has Chase. He takes her word over yours. You can see where his loyalty lies.” Brook Lynn broke down: “How can any of this be happening? How can he just be over?”

Back-story

Per Soap Central’s recaps, Willow let fugitive Sidwell move in with her after becoming congresswoman, and Lulu has been chasing the story of Drew’s “miracle” recovery all week. Chase told Monet he hopes for “an amicable split” from Brook Lynn for their child’s sake.

What’s next

Entertainment Now’s spoilers for Friday, October 9 say “Britt offers a lifeline” and “Portia makes her loyalties clear.” Chase’s “fight back” plan has not been revealed yet — and Drew still has to decide whether to confirm the article or deny it.
