General Hospital: Sidwell Says Lulu Snuck In Dressed as a Nurse — and Calls Her Bombshell Story “Lies”

General Hospital: Sidwell Says Lulu Snuck In Dressed as a Nurse — and Calls Her Bombshell Story

General Hospital recap, Friday, October 9, 2026

Lulu’s article in The Invader blew up Port Charles on Thursday by reporting that Congresswoman Willow kept Drew in a wheelchair for months with a paralytic drug supplied by Sidwell. On Friday, the man at the center of it finally spoke — and his version of how Lulu got her interview is the strangest twist yet.

Britt: “Callum got it for you, didn’t he?”

Britt walked into Sidwell’s hospital room and went straight for it: “I’ve just found out that you forced Willow to drug Drew to keep him in a wheelchair.” Sidwell’s first reaction gave a lot away — “I’m stunned that Willow would divulge that particular secret to anyone.” Britt’s reply: “Oh, she didn’t. You did. To the whole world.”

Sidwell called the story “complete and utter nonsense” — until Britt asked whether Lulu had stopped by to interview him. Then came his answer: “I thought it was a dream.” According to Sidwell, “Lulu came in here. She was dressed in a nurse’s uniform, which I thought was very strange.” He says he “wrote it off as a hallucination,” blaming the painkillers he has been on since he arrived — and insisted he would never involve himself in “such a torturous domestic spat,” because “there’s nothing in it for me.”

Britt didn’t let him off the hook. “The drug you gave Willow — it’s not something you would have had in your medicine cabinet. Callum got it for you, didn’t he? And he must have taken that drug from the WSB.” When Sidwell pointed out it looked bad for “cousin Willow, too,” Britt answered: “Possibly, but you’re the one locked up. So you’re the easy target.”

Anna confirms the drug is real

At the PCPD, Justine and Dante went over the article. Dante said he found out “the same way everyone else did” and backed his ex-wife’s reporting: “She dots her i’s, crosses her t’s… If it’s in the article, Sidwell said it to her.” Justine wanted to know why there were no quotes from Drew or Willow.

Then Anna gave the answer they needed. Asked if the WSB has a drug that “could present as a stroke and lead to locked-in syndrome,” she said: “They do. It’s a cocktail of FDA-approved drugs and specialized non-FDA-approved drugs. It was developed by the military.” Could Sidwell have gotten it? “He had someone acting as his inside man at the bureau. So yes, he could have.” But Anna doesn’t expect the WSB to chase him — they won’t want anyone knowing “that the bureau developed this drug.” Justine’s conclusion: “It’s our case if we want to pursue it.”

“Lies. Nothing but lies.”

When Dante went to take Sidwell’s statement, the prisoner had his line ready. Asked about the article “where you alleged that you were the one who supplied Willow with the medicine that she was using to drug Drew,” Sidwell said: “Lies. Nothing but lies.”

Chase: sue for libel

At home, Chase told Willow she “need[s] to sue for libel. Do not let the Quartermaines win” — Lulu and The Invader included. Britt pushed back: “If Willow sues, it just becomes another chapter in the saga of Willow versus the Quartermaines. The best thing you can do is ignore it.” Willow said she owes her constituents an explanation, and wondered if pushing back is exactly what Michael wants. Chase promised: “I’d be with you every step of the way.”

Back-story

On Thursday (Oct. 8), Willow privately admitted to Britt that Sidwell “didn’t have to twist my arm very” much, and that in exchange for the paralytic “he wanted me installed in Drew’s seat in Congress.” Entertainment Now’s spoilers for the week said “Lulu makes a daring play” (Tuesday) and “Lulu’s latest article makes waves” (Thursday).
