Bold and the Beautiful: Brooke Storms Into Logan — “Now You’ve Taken Zende? How Could You?!” — and the Exact Words Katie Used to Answer Her Sister

Recap of The Bold and the Beautiful, CBS, Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

Zende is officially a Logan designer, and Brooke found out the hard way. Wednesday’s episode ended with her walking into her sister’s company and demanding an answer — and Katie giving her one that fans are already arguing about. Here is what Katie actually said back, and the one word Brooke used before the credits.

“Another Forrester”

At Forrester Creations, Eric was still refusing to believe Katie could lure Zende away when Brooke arrived and heard it from Ridge: Zende is gone, and he wants to work with Katie and Hope. Eric admitted Zende felt dismissed and unheard, and that he had let things go too far. When Brooke guessed that R.J. had been hogging the spotlight, Ridge answered: “That was part of it.”

Brooke’s reaction, per Soaps.com: “Oh my God! Another Forrester.” To her, it was proof that Katie is trying to sink Forrester Creations. Ridge added that Zende and Dylan are now a package deal; Eric worried Dylan could be feeding Logan information and called the situation a five-alarm fire — Logan is selling designs that carry the Forrester name, and now it has Zende too. Brooke vowed that Katie would not hurt the family anymore and stormed out: “She’s done it again!” Ridge texted Carter and Steffy, who both found Zende’s decision out of character.

What was happening at Logan

Across town, Dylan walked into Logan with news of her own: “They fired me.” Katie was stunned — “They fired you?!” Minutes later Zende arrived: he had tried to defend Dylan, Ridge fired her anyway, and he quit. “I left. I quit my job at Forrester.” If the offer still stood, “I would be honored to be part of Team Logan.” Katie and Hope hugged him, Katie began planning a press release, and everyone agreed Brooke was going to be furious. They cheered anyway.

“How could you?!”

That is the moment Brooke walked in. “Zende? Now you’ve taken Zende? How could you?!” she demanded. Katie’s answer was the business case: she offered Zende an opportunity when he was being underused, he accepted, and turning him away would have been foolish. She said Zende had been misled, just as Hope had been, and invited Brooke to come and see what she and her daughter are building.

Brooke was not having it. She accused Katie of lying to Zende, of wanting to build “Forrester 2.0,” and of never creating anything on her own. Katie said she is building the opposite of a Forrester copy. Brooke said she felt stabbed in the back by her sister — and she was angry that Hope stood there and did not back her up. The Forresters are suffering, Brooke said, and it has to stop. Katie called it business. Brooke called it personal: a vendetta, revenge. Her last line of the episode: “And it breaks my heart.” SoapsSpoilers notes that Hope shook her head at Katie as the scene ended.

Meanwhile, at the beach house

Will told Dylan he was glad Zende stood up for her, promised “I’ll fix this,” and said he would make sure Katie gives her a job at Logan. Dylan said she loves him. “I love you, too,” Will answered.

How we got here

Katie asked Dylan on September 28 to get Zende talking to Hope. Zende gave his notice on October 9, was talked into staying by Eric on October 12 — the day Ridge fired Dylan over that meeting — and on October 13 told Ridge “If Dylan goes, I go” and walked out with her. Hope signed with Logan on May 25 and Will joined on June 3.

What’s next

Soaps.com’s spoilers for Thursday, October 15, say that “in the wake of Wednesday’s reveal, Bill begins to worry about Katie,” and that when Finn tells Steffy he is returning home early, she panics. For Friday, October 16: “Brooke makes an appeal to Katie,” which Soaps.com hints does not go well, since Brooke winds up accusing her sister of being out for revenge.

Your call: Is Katie simply running a business — or is this revenge on the Forresters, as Brooke says? And should Hope have backed her mother up?
