Casting round-up for the week of October 19–23, 2026, from the published Comings & Goings columns.
Friday’s CBS episode ended with the curtains opening on the bride. Monday picks up the ceremony, and this week’s casting reports add several faces to the room. Here is everyone the reliable outlets have named, which day to watch for them, and the one arrival that is still a question.
The full list for October 19–23
Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo) — Monday, October 19. Soap Hub’s Comings & Goings column (October 17) reports that Darbo makes her in-person Y&R debut as Sally’s grandmother on Monday, arriving for the wedding. Darbo played Shirley on The Bold and the Beautiful from 2017; Soaps.com notes she was seen on Y&R only by video call in 2021. On screen, “Grams” has so far been a text and a video question — on October 15 Coco read the family’s questions to Billy at the rehearsal dinner.
Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell) — Monday and through the week. Sally’s younger sister arrived on October 8 and Soap Hub says she stays on for the wedding days. Campbell took over the part Courtney Grosbeck played on B&B in 2017–18. On Friday she stood with Sally for the dress reveal and met Katie.
Johnny and Katie Abbott (Paxton Mishkind, Sienna Mercuri) — Monday, October 19. Soap Opera Digest (October 14) confirmed Billy’s children appear in the Friday and Monday episodes, their first scenes since Christmas Eve 2025. Katie’s line to Sally on Friday: “You’ve made my dad so happy. And I’m so glad you’re going to be a part of our family.”
Pietro (Jai Rodriguez) — Monday, October 19. The party planner is back running the Great Gatsby wedding at the Club; Soap Hub says his last visit was Nikki’s birthday party in May 2025, and that he shares scenes with Kyle this week.
The minister (Michael Nanfria). Soap Hub names the actor officiating the ceremony.
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), Abby Newman Winters (Melissa Ordway). All three are listed among the family members in the wedding scenes. Ashley spent Thursday and Friday telling Jack she sees “red flags”; Traci asked Billy about cold feet.
The arrival nobody will confirm
Soaps.com’s spoiler for Monday reads: “As Sally and Billy’s wedding begins, a surprise guest joins the festivities.” The site adds that it had thought staying away was this person’s “gift to the couple” — and blanks out the name. Soap Hub’s weekly update uses the same wording. Neither names the guest, and Shirley is the only new arrival the casting columns put on Monday.
Two threads from last week are worth remembering. On Friday a message from Chloe reached Sally’s phone before Audra took it away. And Jill, Billy’s mother, sent her regrets on October 13 — more tests in London — after Sally invited her and Billy agreed on one condition: no fighting on the day. Jason Thompson (Billy) told TV Guide, as reprinted by Soap Opera Digest, that “there’s something pretty serious that goes down with Jill, and it throws everything into the blender in that moment.” The CBS preview for this week, as described by Digest and Soap Hub, has Billy on the phone asking, “Snapper, is my mom okay?” Soaps.com puts that news on Tuesday: “Cane shares distressing news with the groom. How bad off is Jill?”
Your turn: Is Grams the surprise guest — or is someone else about to walk through those doors? And should Jill’s news be allowed to stop this wedding?
