Recap of The Bold and the Beautiful, Tuesday, October 27, 2026 (CBS).
Katie Logan Spencer called her new design team in before sunrise, and by the end of the hour her own sister was standing in the Forrester living room asking Bill Spencer how she could do it. Here is what actually happened in Tuesday’s episode, line by line.
“Zende Forrester is our newest superstar”
Zende, Hope and Deke all got the same late-night text: come in early. Katie opened the meeting with a welcome speech for her new co-head designer. “You have put your faith in us, and I know coming here was not an easy decision,” she told Zende, “but hopefully the transition will go smoothly, and you’ll see that this is a place of creative freedom. Welcome to your new home.”
Then came the real reason for the early call. “This is your time, and we’re about to make international news,” Katie said. The PR department had an official release ready. “We will be sending it out to the staff first, and then we’ll go worldwide. Let everybody know that Zende Forrester is our newest superstar.”
The staff memo went out moments later: “NEW HIRE ANNOUNCEMENT: Zende Forrester, co-head designer of Hope by Logan,” complete with photos of Katie, Deke, Hope and Zende. Zende admitted the whole thing was “a bit overwhelming.” Deke said he felt the same when he moved over.
The headlines Katie wants the world to read
Katie had “another treat” for the team: a link to the headlines Spencer Publications will run. Hope read the first one out loud: “Runway Runaway: Zende Forrester joins Hope Logan…” The next two were just as sharp. One asked whether “Forrester Cretins,” the “once-renowned luxury brand,” has “finally lost its sparkle.” Another announced that Zende Forrester “takes talents to top competitor.”
“Pretty juicy, huh?” Katie said. Her team did not look convinced. According to Soaps.com’s recap, Zende, Hope and Deke all asked, “Isn’t this a bit much?” Katie’s answer: “People have the attention span of a gnat.” She called the articles “mild” and dismissed the headlines as clickbait.
Bill brings the memo to Brooke
Across town, Bill showed up at Brooke’s door. “Thank God Ridge left for the office already,” Brooke said. Bill had news: “I want you to know that I did try talking to Katie again, but it was of no use.” Then he showed her his phone. “Something’s about to happen. And it’s significant.”
It was the staff email with the Zende announcement. “I just can’t believe this,” Brooke said. Bill’s reply put him squarely on his wife’s side: “Katie believes in what she’s doing. And fact is, I of course have supported it. And it’s her right as a businesswoman and her duty as the head of the company.”
Brooke was not having it. “This isn’t even about business. Look at this. This proves it,” she said. “Look at this picture. Oh my God, Bill. How could my sister do this? How could my daughter?” When Bill warned her about the headlines Katie had approved, Brooke went further: “Your wife ought to be ashamed of herself.” Per Soaps.com, Brooke insisted the whole fight is also about Eric, and kept calling the articles “offensive trash” until Bill reminded her the Zende press release goes live that very day.
Why the sisters are at war
This feud has been building since Zende gave Forrester his notice earlier this month and signed with Katie’s company, where Hope already works. Brooke sits on the Forrester side with Ridge and Eric; Katie runs Logan with Hope and Deke, and Bill, who owns Spencer Publications, is backing her. On Monday, per Soaps.com’s spoilers, Bill tried to appeal to Katie’s empathy “without much success.” Tuesday was the day Katie stopped asking and started publishing.
What’s next
Soaps.com’s spoilers for the rest of the week say Ridge tells Brooke that “Forrester is in trouble” on Thursday, Katie is “infuriated, possibly by a text exchange between her husband and her sister,” and on Friday “Katie is on the warpath, and Brooke and the Forrester Creations CEO’s office are targets.” The site sums up the week as “a tornado by the name of Katie strikes Forrester Creations.”
